Apply and paint bathroom tiles

You don’t know how to add a special touch to your bathroom decoration? With these simple steps you will learn how to paint tiles, simply by painting them in different colours and applying them to your bathroom wall.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All)
- White tiles made of ceramics, natural stone or glass
- Tiles paint
- White spirit
- Tile grout
Trowel, Sponge, Tile spacers, Brush, Ruler, A cloth
Get the Materials
You will need construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All), white tiles (ceramic, natural stone or glass), a brush, tiles paint of different colours, tile spacers, white spirit, tile grout, a trowel, a sponge, a ruler and a cloth.
Paint the tiles
Clean the white tiles with white spirit and let them dry. Once cleaned and dried, carefully paint the tiles with your favorite colors using the brush, applying thin layers of paint to a uniform result. Wait for the varnish on the tiles to dry (it may take up to 3 days).
Clean the tiles and the surface
Clean the tiles with a dry cloth. Then, clean the wall surface where you will apply the tiles with white spirit and make sure it is free from dust, grease and other contaminates. Do not apply tiles on a surface which has wallpaper.
Glue the tiles on the wall I
First of all, divide the wall having in consideration the tiles format. Apply a small amount of construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All) on each corner and on the center of the back of the tile.
Glue the tiles on the wall II
Start always from the center of the wall. Glue the tiles on the wall, pressing for 10 seconds. Use tile spacers between the tiles to ensure uniform grout lines.
Fill the joints
Fill the joints between the tiles with putty using the trowel and remove the excess with a moistened sponge.
Remove the excess product
Remove the excess of product with a cloth and wait for 24 hours for the product to dry.
