Glue a coat rack on the wall

Glue a coat rack on the wall without leaving a mark or drilling the walls of your home.

Why drill the walls of your home, creating ugly holes that can’t be hidden, when you can use glue and leave no marks? Here’s a great solution that will make your clothes shine on the new coat rack.

WHAT YOU NEED

MATERIALS

- Construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All)
- Benzene or acetone

TOOLS

- Cartridge gun
- Sandpaper
- Cloth

Get the Materials

You will need a construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All), benzene or acetone, a cloth, sandpaper and a cartridge gun.

STEP 1

Prepare the surfaces

Make sure to clean all relevant surfaces with a cloth moistened in acetone before starting the procedure, making sure they are free of grease, dust and other elements.

STEP 2

Sand the surface

Smooth the surface with sandpaper to increase adherence of the mounting glue.

STEP 3

Prepare the cartdrige gun

Cut the top off the montage adhesive and put it inside the cartridge gun.

TIP

When you cut a glue cartridge, make sure to cut it at the right angle!

Apply the product

Apply construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All) to the back of the coat rack. Place it against the wall and press firmly, correcting the position slightly if necessary.

STEP 5

Wait for 48 hours

For safety reasons, it is recommended to support the glued coat rack with power tape until the adhesive has reached its optimal bonding strength.

STEP 6

That’s it!

After 24 hours you can remove the power tape and start using your new DIY coat rack. Now, see how a new wallpapered wall would make your room even more comfortable and stylish!
