Install a kitchen worktop
A new worktop will give your kitchen an updated appearance. Why don’t you try and install your kitchen worktop yourself
WHAT YOU NEED
- Construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All)
- Cutter knife
- Cartridge gun
- Kitchen cleaner
- Paper roll
- Chopping board
- Waste box
- Wood sticks
Get the Materials
To start the process you will need construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All), a kitchen cleaner, paper roll, cutting board, a waste box, a cutter knife, a cartridge gun and wood sticks.
Prepare the materials
Place the cartridge on the cutting board, making sure it is stable when you are cutting off the tip. Then screw the nozzle onto the cartridge.
Extract some product
Extrude 5 cm of paste to avoid possible damaged product that could reduce adhesive properties.
Get the cartridge ready
Cut the nozzle, making sure the diameter is around 6mm. Now you can put the cartridge into the cartridge gun.
Apply the product
Apply construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All) maintaining an even speed and pressure without pressing too hard. Try to apply the same amount of adhesive to every section.
Place the wood sticks
Place the wood sticks on the corners of the table and glue the worktop onto the table, pressing gently.
Check the final position and it’s done!
Check the final position to make sure it's well aligned and then remove the wood sticks. It’s done! Now that you know how to install a kitchen worktop it’s time to apply some splash guards to match your kitchen worktop so your kitchen looks perfect!
