Hang a shower shelf in the bathroom
Hang a shower rack without damaging your bathroom tiles.
Organising your shower products can be done with very little effort and it will make your bathroom look tidier. All you need to do is learn how to hang a shower shelf; it’s easy!
WHAT YOU NEED
- Construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All)
- Cutter knife
- Cartridge gun
- Cutting board
- Waste box
Get the Materials
You will need construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond Montage Special), a cutting board, a waste box, a cutter knife and a cartridge gun.
Prepare the materials
Take the cartridge and carefully cut the tip. Make sure the cutting board is stable when you cut the tip of the cartridge.
Extract some product
Extrude 5 cm of paste to avoid possible damaged product that could reduce adhesive properties.
Screw on the nozzle
Screw the nozzle onto the cartridge. Cut the nozzle on the cutting board, leaving a diameter of around 6mm.
Apply the product
Apply construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All) to the contact areas of the shelf without pressing too hard. Evenly apply the mounting glue to the contact areas of the shelf.
Position the shower shelf
Position the shower rack on the wall and press gently against the tiles. Hold for a few minutes to ensure good adhesion.
Check the level and it’s done!
Check the final position of the rack to make sure it’s well aligned. Wait for 24 hours for it to dry perfectly. Now your shower time will be much more organised. After learning how to install a shower shelf, find out how you can hang your bathroom mirror easily!
