WHAT YOU NEED
- Construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All)
- Cutting board
- Kitchen cleaner
- Paper towel
- Cutter knife
- Waste box
Get the Materials
You will need construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All), a kitchen cleaner, a paper roll, a cutting board, a cutter knife, a handgun to apply the product, and a waste box.
Clean the surface
Clean the wall (must be absorbent, with no tiles) behind your kitchen sink with a kitchen cleaner before starting the process. This will guarantee more effective results.
Apply the product using the cartridge gun
Position the cartridge inside the cartridge gun. Apply steady, continuous beads of construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All) and use the same amount of product in every line. Apply with constant speed and pressure. Don’t press it too hard, in order to avoid flattening the adhesive.
Stick it to the wall and press
Stick the splash guard to the wall and press gently against it. Check the final position to make sure it’s well aligned with the sink and press harder for a couple of seconds to ensure a good grip.
