Get the Materials
You will need construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond No More Nails), a wooden skirting board and a level.
Prepare the surfaces and apply the product
Make sure that no paint is falling off the wall and that the skirting board is clean and dry. The wall on which you are going to apply your masterpiece has to be clean and dry too. Apply the construction adhesive (e.g. Unibond No More Nails) in a wavy manner all over the skirting board.
Install the skirting board
Put the skirting board. Use the level to make sure you keep the skirting board in the right place and at the same height all along the wall.
Hold the skirting board in place and press for a few seconds. Then continue to apply the mounting glue to the remaining skirting board, repeating the process.
Wait for 24 hours and then enjoy your masterpiece!
Depending on the weather and environment, it may dry more quickly, but wait 24 hours anyway to ensure that the skirting board has adhered well. Now that you know how to install a skirting board in place, see how you could make your wall look really personalised by applying your favourite wallpaper.
