WHAT YOU NEED
- Putty filler (e.g. UniBond Repair Express Power Putty)
- A cutter
- A screwdriver
- Latex gloves
Get the Materials
To fix the knob on your wardrobe door you will need some Putty filler (e.g. UniBond Repair Express Power Putty), latex gloves, sandpaper, a cutter and a screwdriver.
Mix the repair paste
Use latex gloves to handle the Putty filler (e.g. UniBond Repair Express Power Putty). Cut off a slice of repair paste and knead it until you achieve a uniform colour.
Fill the hole
Now it’s time to fill the hole where the knob should go. Don’t worry if there’s some product excess, because you can sand the putty as soon as it’s dry.
Remove excess product
You can also remove glue excess with a cutter before it hardens.
Screw it in again and there you go!
When the putty reaches the right consistency, you can screw the knob in again and position it correctly. And that’s it! A door knob repair is done! Now check the door hinges and fix them quickly if you need!
