Repair a broken chair
Repair your favourite broken chair very easily!
It’s not unusual for your favourite chair to break – you use it all the time! But don’t worry, with a furniture repair you're set! Your broken chair will be fixed in a couple of minutes and you´ll be back sitting in your favourite seat again.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Putty filler (e.g. UniBond Repair Express Power Putty)
- Cutter knife
Get the Materials
You will need some Putty filler (e.g. UniBond Repair Express Power Putty) and a cutter knife.
Check the parts
Check if the two parts line up and decide how much putty filler (e.g. UniBond Repair Express Power Putty) you will need.
Get the materials ready
Remove the protective plastic from the repair paste bar and cut the required amount of paste using the cutter knife. Knead it with your hands until you obtain a uniform colour.
Fill the hole
Fill the hole with the repair paste and carefully insert the broken piece in the hole to complete the bond.
Press the two parts together
Press together tightly until it has fixed in the right position.
Pick up the materials
Replace the protective film on the remaining repair paste and store it back in the container.
Let it dry and it’s done!
Don’t touch it for 24 hours and after that you’re free to sit on your favourite chair again!
