Get the Materials
You will need a construction adhesive (e.g UniBond One For All), a plywood board, 6 vintage tennis rackets, a cartridge gun, a cloth, a metal ruler and a pencil.
Preparation of the wall
Please ensure that the wall you will be sticking the vintage rackets to is rigid enough and free of dust, grease and any other loose materials.
Paint the board
Clean the board with a cloth to make sure it's entirely clean. Using a paint roller and tray, paint the wall on the front side in white and let it dry for 48 hours.
Mark and position
Take the ruler and mark the racket placement along the plywood board. For a better positioning, draw light horizontal lines to make sure that they are parallel. Taking the extra time to do so will ensure a perfectly-aligned canvas!
Glue the rackets
Apply construction adhesive (e.g UniBond One For All) to the back of the tennis rackets and place them on the plywood board, pressing and aligning them for a few seconds. Repeat this process until you've glued all the tennis rackets and are happy with the appearance!
Let them dry
Let the rackets dry for 24 hours before gluing the plywood board on the wall.
Glue the plywood board to the wall
Apply beads of construction adhesive (e.g UniBond One For All) to the back of the plywood, 10cm apart in vertical stripes. Then press firmly against the wall and twist slightly for full adhesion.
