- Cartridge gun
Get the Materials
You will need a construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All), benzene or acetone, a cloth, sandpaper and a cartridge gun.
Prepare the surfaces
Make sure to clean all relevant surfaces with a cloth moistened in acetone before starting the procedure, making sure they are free of grease, dust and other elements.
Sand the surface
Smooth the surface with sandpaper to increase adherence of the mounting glue.
Prepare the cartdrige gun
Cut the top off the montage adhesive and put it inside the cartridge gun.
Apply the product
Apply construction adhesive (e.g. UniBond One For All) to the back of the coat rack. Place it against the wall and press firmly, correcting the position slightly if necessary.
Wait for 48 hours
For safety reasons, it is recommended to support the glued coat rack with power tape until the adhesive has reached its optimal bonding strength.
After 24 hours you can remove the power tape and start using your new DIY coat rack. Now, see how a new wallpapered wall would make your room even more comfortable and stylish!
